GOLDEN GLOBES 2007

Helen Mirren - of course. She's friggin brilliant. She won for 'Elizabeth 1' but I saw 'The Queen' and she blew my mind.

Emily Blunt - ok. Good enough. 'My Summer of Love' was decent. Didn't see the movie she won for...Meh.

Hugh Laurie - Fun show. Good vote. Get Shalhoub off his high fucking horse. Trust me...it DOES affect how you are as a person.

America Ferrera - FUCKING AMEN!! God bless the HFPA! She has been goddamn amazing in 'Ugly Betty.' It's about time someone one for really portraying a person who is succeeding REGARDLESS of her weight and beauty.

Alec Baldwin -Meh. Don't watch the show.

Jeremy Irons - Yes, we get it. British actors are better than most American ones. But SERIOUSLY, People. Chewitel Ejiofor is friggin awesome. Love Actually, Kinky Boots, Tsunami - friggin brilliant. Should've won.

Bill Nighy - loved him in his other crap. Didn't see Gideon's Daughter. But okay. Not bad.

Kyra Sedgwick - Meh. Ok, I guess.

Prince - Meh. But JT was pretty funny.

Jennifer Hudson - I just saw 'Dreamgirls.' HOLY SHIT. It's fucking good. Go see it. Go see it!!!!!!!

Sasha Baron Cohen - Good god - to laugh that hard and STILL walk out thinking about the state of this country? Amen!

Martin Scorcese - Ok. He deserves this after the lifetime of his work that has blown my mind. The Departed was amazing.

Best film? Not going to weigh in on that. Too Subjective. 2007 was slightly disappointing, to say the least. But I will say this: let's keep these films under 2 hours - the fucking 24oz sodas can't compete!

Also, I'm drunk right now. Yes. It's 10:18 on a Monday night. But I also slammed my fingers in a very heavy window. So leave me alone!!!
